STUNG TRENG — A 40-member delegation from Angkor University, led by H.E. Dr. Sok Tonh, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees and High Representative of Chairman H.E. Neak Oknha Dr. Seang Nam, paid a courtesy call on Stung Treng Governor H.E. Sor Soputra during an official study tour in northeastern Cambodia.

Accompanied by university Board of Trustees and Top Management members, the delegation explored opportunities to connect academic study with regional development. Governor H.E. Sor Soputra welcomed the visit and briefed the team on Stung Treng’s growing potential in eco-tourism, cultural heritage, and infrastructure, highlighting the province as a valuable site for academic research.

In turn, H.E. Dr. Sok Tonh commended the provincial administration's rapid progress and requested support in encouraging local high school graduates to pursue higher education at Angkor University in Siem Reap, emphasizing the city's favorable living conditions and career opportunities. The initiative highlights Angkor University’s ongoing commitment to practical learning, youth leadership, and active community engagement across Cambodia.
